About ten minutes elapsed between my post on my little-known blog and your comment in response. Kudos! Your answer is completely fair, and my criticism is probably totally paranoid. Putting community-building before revenue-generation is the way open source companies do things, and is not be criticized, at least not by me. But being public with a "Hey, we're going to have SDK stuff to sell next year!" sort of message would probably stop the fantasies of the paranoiacs—the medicated ones, at least—if such actually exist. :) Tim Jeff,

However, we do have a revenue plan for value-added new products around the SDK that we hope to introduce next year.
